Membrane switch material type: polyvinyl chloride PVC60℃[NULL].175~0.5/smooth surface is stable to acid, alkali and salt at room temperature. Good wear resistance, flame resistance and self-extinguishing, sound and vibration damping, good electrical insulation. Poor thermal stability. Inexpensive ordinary signs, panels. Polycarbonate PC-60~120℃[NULL].175~1.0 High light transmittance, low water absorption, good dimensional stability, excellent bending, tensile and compressive strength, heat resistance and cold resistance, Excellent electrical insulation and atmospheric aging resistance. The fatigue resistance is poor, and stress cracking is easy to occur. The output interface terminal circuit is generally made of carbon material and has no protective coating. It is gradually formed by air oxidation to form a peeling layer, which will lead to an open circuit and end of life. This is a membrane switch. The place that is prone to failure is mainly determined by the environment. Regardless of whether it is used or not, the physical damage time is 3-10 years. Generally, the scope of application is wide. In addition to meeting the requirements of most membrane switch panels, the high light transmittance of smooth PC can also meet the requirements of liquid crystal display windows.

Sand surface polyester (PET) -30~120℃[NULL].1~0.2 glossy surface Good resistance to requirements, insoluble in general organic solvents, not alkali resistant. It has excellent mechanical properties, electrical properties, rigidity, hardness and toughness in thermoplastics, low water absorption, excellent wear and friction resistance, and high dimensional stability. The tensile strength is comparable to that of aluminum film, much higher than that of PC and PVC. Inexpensive because the surface is difficult to process into a matte type, textured PET is more expensive. It is an ideal substrate for making membrane switch circuits. Among them, textured PET is suitable for products with high surface requirements or with liquid crystal display windows.

Membrane switch material thickness: The thickness of the plastic substrate is 0.25mm and below is called the membrane, which is mainly used as the panel layer of the membrane switch. Various indicative patterns and characters are printed on the back to indicate the operation area of ​​the corresponding switch key. The thickness selection should depend on the size of the panel and the button. Thick material will increase the touch force and slow response; if the material is too thin, the feel will be poor when touched, and the rebound will not be obvious. Thickness of more than 0.25mm is called plate, which is not suitable for three-dimensional key forming. It can be used as an indicative sign panel without key operation area, and can also be used as a lining plate of membrane switch to improve its hardness.

Line layer printing material:

The substrate for making the circuit should be a polyester (polyethylene phthalate) film (Potyester for short PET). It has good insulation and heat resistance, high mechanical strength, transparency and air tightness, especially with folding resistance and high elasticity, and is an ideal material for making membrane switch circuits.
